Avon has everything from bath and body care, skin care & cosmetics to videos, clothing items, children's toys and gift ideas plus aline of high quality skin care and cosmetics called Anew and a teen line called mark.
How much does it cost to get started and what does that fee include? Can you earn your kit free?
The cost is only $10 to become an Avon representative. Or, you may choose to become a certified beauty advisor or become a mark representative. As an Avon representative, you can sell both Mark and Avon products from the core catalog.
What is the consultant commission?
Commission depends on the amount of your orders, and is up to 50%. If you are a Mark only representative, your commission is 25% - 40%
How & when do you get paid?
When you open an account with Avon, you receive your products on credit, and owe Avon the wholesale amount based on your discount.
What is the consultant discount? (consultants wholesale cost)
The same as the commission, which again, depends on your level of sales. We are able to purchase new product demos starting at 40% off
Can a consultant just sign up to purchase their own products at wholesale?
Yes, they can.
How are orders placed? Can you order online? Is there a toll free number?
You can place orders online, by telephone or mail.
What are the requirements to stay "active"? (quotas, monthly minimums, etc.)
You must place any size order once a month. Once every campaign (or two weeks) if you want to stay current on the monthly specials and new products.
What happens if a consultant does not reach the requirement? (If applicable)
You account becomes inactive after not placing an order for 3 consecutive campaigns
Does the company reward you for recruiting other consultants? How?
Yes, you receive a commission based on your organization sales if you choose to become a leadership representative, or you may choose cash, prizes or products instead as a one time bonus for each person you "recruit"
Is there a yearly renewal fee?

Yes, but you are not allowed to have your own website unless it's a company website, which Avon provides for a fee.

I started selling Avon 10 years ago! I really love the variety of products and the fact that they are affordable. I really don't like selling via home parties so this gives me the opportunity to make some extra money, and not have to schedule home parties. Avon is a household name so it's very easy to sell! I have enjoyed taking advantage of the Beauty Advisor and image training Avon offers and love to do makeovers. I would encourge you to try Avon! It's easy and fun to sell, and it's only $10! I use Avon for Christmas shopping, birthday's, etc.
